MOTION NO. 8

MOTION: Councillor E. Higgins

"That the Chief Executive report into the outstanding items which need to be completed before Peyton Estate in Rathcoole can be taken into charge and that the report include details of what contact there has been with the developer and any programme of works provided by them." 

REPORT:

Peyton estate is presently under construction and it would be premature to offer it at this stage for TIC.

The items which would need to be completed just to take phase 1 into charge would be:

As-Built surveys

CCTV and manhole reports

Cross connection reports

Public lighting assessment and sign off

Parks sign off.

There is an established procedure laid down in SDCC's Taking in Charge policy and this development at this present stage does not fulfill the necessary criteria for TIC.
