QUESTION NO. 2

QUESTION: Councillor E. Ó Broin

"To ask the Chief Executive to provide a full breakdown of the costs involved in the building of the MAAN soccer changing rooms in Corkagh Park detailing the payments made to contractors involved for the carrying out of all works involved in the project and to detail the sources of funding for this project?"

REPLY:

Construction of the MANN Pavilion commenced in 2004 and was completed in 2005 and officially opened on 27th June 2005. The project cost approximately €650,000 and was funded from a number of sources including South Dublin County Council, the Dormant Accounts Fund, Young Persons Facilities and Services Fund and the Integrated Area Plan Community Linkage Fund. The building was designed by an external firm of architects who supervised the main contract on behalf of the Council.

As the records sought relate to a period more than ten years ago, it has not been possible to provide the detail and level of breakdown requested.
