MOTION NO.2

MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

That this Committee support the erection of a sign, with appropriate symbol, to mark the start of the Dublin Way at the roundabout situated  at Kiltipper Way.

REPORT:

The start of the Dublin Mountains Way is located at Seán Walsh Park, Whitestown Way (opposite the Maldron Hotel).

This location is already well signposted and there is a commemorative stone in place there to celebrate the official opening of the route on the 31st October 2010.

It is therefore not considered necessary to locate an additional sign for this route on the roundabout at Kiltipper.
