QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm plans for works at Castletymon Library."

REPLY:

Work on Castletymon roof is due to proceed this summer. An alternate venue has been located at Glenview Lodge.

As agreed at mediation SDCC tendered for consultant engineers to project manage roof remediation.

A recommendation was brought forward from the tender for approval but the owner of the Library has not to date agreed the appointment of an engineer. The County Law Agent is in correspondence to advance the matter.
