MOTION NO. 3

MOTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"That the Chief Executive arranges for stone signs to be put in place at both ends of the Marian Road, Rathfarnham, as previously requested by the Butterfield and District Residents Association."

REPORT:

The Council's Public Realm Section has been in contact with the Butterfield and District Residents Association in recent days with regard to the erection of namestones at both ends of Marian Road as was previously agreed.  The Council is ready to carry out the necessary work at short notice however the BDRA have asked that it be put on hold for now while they resolve an issue that has arisen with regard to the proposal to erect these namestones.
