MOTION NO. 4

MOTION: Councillor P. Foley

"That the Chief Executive note that I have been dealing with the RA in Parklands estate beside Ballycragh Park – link to map below

I am proposing that we put a new pedestrian entrance to the park from Parklands Road around 4 meters down from the entrance to Parklands View.

From this new entrance, lay a new tarmac pathway to meet up with the existing pathway within the park.

I would also like to see a swing gate installed at the pedestrian entrance to Parklands view. This should minimise the significant ASBO behaviour that the residents of Parklands view are currently experiencing."

REPORT:

A budget of €10,000 has been allocated for improvements to be undertaken in Ballycragh Park in the current year.  It is hoped that the works requested here can be included as part of those improvement works.
