One of the items on the agenda for the SPC last week was representation on the Board of Rua Red. As you will see from the attached the Board Structure provides for 3 representatives from the Arts SPC, the Chair, one elected member and one non-elected member. The non-elected member is to be a community representative. Having discussed the matter at the SPC and subsequently with the Chair we will be bringing a recommendation to the Organisation, Procedure & Finance Committee of the Council that Cllr Dermot Richardson and Cllr Fintan Warfield join the Board. As the PPN representative to the SPC I have agreed with Dermot that you be requested to join the Board.
