QUESTION NO. 18

QUESTION: Councillor B. Ferron

"To ask the Chief Executive if the bridge at Bolbrook can be inspected? After recent work to insert under ground drainage pipes beside Bolbrook bridge, the pathway was left in a less than acceptable state. The pathway is still partially covered in soil & the wooden bollards were not reset evenly. The end result is a messy entrance for Glenview & Bolbrook. Can the Chief Executive arrange to have any required works carried out?"

REPLY:

The area was inspected as requested. The drainage pipes in question were installed to prevent flooding on the N81. They were laid through the green area and outfall into the adjacent river. No works were carried out to the bridge or the footpath. The Public Realm section will be requested to inspect the wooden bollards as some appear to be in a decayed state.
