City Bike Scheme –

To ask the Chief Executive re: The extension of this scheme to villages in the county – Can details be provided on any progress regarding the extension of the city bikes scheme to South County Dublin?

REPLY:

A draft feasibility study of a bicycle hire scheme in the Tallaght area has been undertaken.  However funding is awaited from the NTA to progress the scheme any further.  An application will be made to the NTA for funding in the 2016 Sustainable Transport Measures Programme.
