"That this committee recommends that the house known as St. Roch's on Taylor's Lane, Rathfarnham, be entered on the list of preserved/conservation structures of the county."
REPORT:
St. Roch’s, a semi-detached house on Talylors Lane (westernmost of pair) was one of a number of structures recommended by the Councils Architectural Conservation Officer for assessment and possible inclusion on the Record of Protected Structures (RPS) as part of the County Development Plan Review. A conservation consultant was engaged to carry out a review of the RPS and Architectural Conservation Areas.
The property known as St. Roch’s was assessed by the conservation consultant and any recommendation regarding the property will be considered as part of the ongoing Development Plan process. Details will subsequently be included in the Draft County Development Plan 2016-2022.
