Two Funding Opportunities have been offered to date to all of the 11 established Tidy Towns Groups in the County. The first opportunity was an Initial Seed Grant and the second was an Annual Programme Grant.
To date 10 of the 11 established groups have returned completed applications for the Initial Seed Grant and these groups have all been paid the €1500 grant. These Groups are:
Templogue Village
Rathfarnham
Newcastle
Clondalkin
Woodstown
Palmerstown
North Clondalkin
Newcastle
Lucan
Griffeen
The only group not to return a completed application for the Initial Seed Grant to date is Oldbawn Tidy Towns Group.
In relation to the Annual Programme Grant, all groups were on the 29th of April advised of the process for applying the Annual Programme Grant and to date 3 of the 11 groups have returned completed applications. These applications have all been assessed and in each case a €4000 Annual Programme Grant was awarded to the group. Arrangements have been made for payment of these sums and this is at present underway.
The three groups that have been awarded these €4000 grants are:
Templogue Village
Newscastle
Clondalkin
