UPDATE ON PLAY SPACE PROGRAMME 2014 – 2018
The proposed Five Year Play Space programme for the Rathfarnham and Templeogue-Terenure Area Committee that was agreed by the Elected Members in 2013 is detailed as follows.

The roll out of the programme is progressing, although at a somewhat slower pace than originally envisaged. However, the public consultation process that is the backbone of providing suitable and acceptable play spaces is proving to be a successful one and despite set backs to the programme. It is anticipated that as more play spaces are constructed that they will provide comfort and acceptance to those communities that might have been originally opposed to them.
