QUESTION: Councillor F.N. Duffy

"To ask the Chief Executive does the Council have a date for the opening of the play park on Stocking Avenue, adjacent to Stocking Well?"

REPLY:


It is proposed to open this park in early June 2015.  There are snag items to be rectified by the Contractor and most of this involves drainage works.  It has not been possible to open the park to date as the area was very wet and waterlogged and this has also affected grass growth.
