Proposed series of concerts to be held in Marlay Park, July 2015

An application in accordance with Part XVI of the Planning and Development Act 2000, the Planning and Development Regulations 2001, and the Planning and Development (amendment) Regulations 2012 from Festival Republic Dublin Ltd on behalf of MCD Productions was received on Wednesday, 15 April 2015 in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for the holding of a multi-stage concert events to be held in Marlay Park , Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 between 3rd July and 19th July 2015.

Under Article 9 (1) of the Regulations, a local authority shall consult with prescribed bodies by sending a copy of the application and by seeking submissions or observations in relation to the application.

The application has been referred to South Dublin County Council as an adjoining authority for any submissions or observations in relation to the proposals not later than Wednesday, 20th May 2015.  A draft Event Management Plan has been submitted with the application.

The anticipated maximum attendance at the standalone concerts will be 36,000 people and 21,000 people per day at the Longitude Event. The anticipated attendance is inclusive of guests.
