QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"To ask the Chief Executive when will the issue of membersnet be rectified? When making representations, the system does not allow enough time and times out. Additionally, while it states that there is a two week time frame for response, this is often not the case.  This can sometimes take up to 3 weeks. While completely understanding the number of issues the Council is dealing with at present, this issue needs to be rectified as this is the main source for Councillors to make representations".  

REPLY:

The Membersnet system is currently under review regarding the options available for Members to search and assign queries, and also the amount and levels of unanswered representations. The IT Department has already made some changes to the system and Corporate Services Section will review, in conjunction with users, further refinements if necessary.

The timeout function comes into effect after 20 minutes of inactivity and it is not proposed to change this schedule.
