QUESTION: Councillor E. Higgins

To ask the Chief Executive for a progress report on the planned footpath on Aylmer Road to Peamount United as provided for under the Village Initiative budget allocation?

REPLY:

Negotiations with the Tidy Towns Group is ongoing and this is one of the items under discussion with them.

We are currently finalising design drawings and will shortly commence tender documentation. However, this is subject to agreement with the local landowners.
