QUESTION NO.35
QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan
To ask the Chief Executive how many community groups and residents associations applied for assistance during National Spring Clean Week 2014 and how many were facilitated? How many of these groups were facilitated in having their rubbish collected following the big clean ups?
REPLY:
In 2014 there were 118 National Spring Clean applications. All applicants received a clean up kit and were offered the option of extra clean up materials and collection of the waste following their clean up.
Of these applications 11 groups disposed of the rubbish themselves.
