To ask the Chief Executive to give a breakdown by area of how much green space is owned by the council, with a map?
REPLY:
The Council maintains a database of the public open space in its ownership. The database is based on the Ordance Survey map system which covers the entire country. Currently mapping is available through the Oasis GIS mapping system Oasis GIS Mapping System
Approx 1750 hectares of zoned open space is maintained by the Council. This includes:
