QUESTION: Cllr. Marie Corr

"To ask the Manager to as a matter of urgency assess the condition of the surrounding area of the Jobstown Village development and consult with local groups in order to address their concerns with respect to its current neglected state?"

 REPLY

As previously reported to the Area Committee the area between the two new constructions is the subject of a detailed plan being prepared by the County Architect for the provision of a plaza type area.

 Attached is the conceptual plan for the area in question.

In the interim the County Architect reports that an alternative security system has been ordered.  Arrangements are in hand to clear the surrounding area of any debris which has heretofore been used to attack the development.
