QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive if he will report on contacts with the HSE in respect of the proposed Nursing Home at Tymon North Tallaght; if consultations have taken place with the Planning Department and also confirming arrangements now in place for the disposal of the land in question?"

REPLY:

The Council agreed to dispose of site of approximately 8,000 square metres to the HSE at its meeting on the 14th July 2014 in accordance wtih Section 211 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 and subject to the provisions of S183 of the Local Government Act, 2001.  It is anticipated that the project will contain a 100 bed Community Nursing Unit.  The disposal was subject to the HSE lodging a planning application no later than nine months from the date of the approval of the Council of the transaction.  The HSE lodged an planning application on the 19th March 2015 (SD15A/0053) for the development of the site.
