Update on the Play Space Programme 2014 – 2018

The following is the update on the Play Space Programme 2014 - 2018

2014 PLAY SPACE PROGRAMME
Location	Status
Woodfarm Acres	No agreement possible. Substituted with Riversdale
Riversdale	Works complete, opened 20/03/15
Griffeen Valley Park - Hayden’s Park	This went to tender in 2014 but no suitable tender applications were received.  It has since been redesigned in-house and is currently out to tender.
Hermitage Park   Department of Children and Youth Affairs funding	Works substantially complete and play space is open. Works to complete this play space includes tree and shrub planting which will be done in conjunction with local families in the coming weeks.
2015 PLAY SPACE PROGRAMME
Waterstown Park	Local support expressed at Community Council Meeting in June 2014. Local consultations underway. Design process commenced.
Griffeen Valley Park	Design process commenced
Sarsfield Park, Lucan	Consultation process has commenced with Residents Association
