That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to use the resources available to him to (A) remove the large amount of litter that is lodged in the stream in Tymon Park. The particular black spot is located between the two bridges on the Tymon side of the Park and (B) resurface the pathway on both sides of the pedestrian bridge, including the surface of the bridge.

REPORT:

Arrangements are being made at present to remove the litter from the stream in Tymon Park as referred to here, this work will be carried out during the week commencing Monday March 23rd.  A number of pathways in the park have recently been repaired.  Further repair works to other areas inluding to the pathway at the pedestrian bridge are being arranged at the moment and this work will hopefully be carried out during the month of April.
