QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"To ask the Chief Executive to make a report regarding the long overdue remedial works and provision of a new footpath at the rear of Castletymon Library and could he indicate if a start date for commencement of works has been agreed?"

REPLY:

The scheme to provide a new footpath across the green space at Castletymon library has been included in the 2015 programme of public realm improvement works which was presented to the meeting of the County Council on Monday March 9th.  It is hoped that construction of this scheme will commence around May/June of 2015 and will be completed in the current year.
