"To ask can the Chief Executive provide an update on plans/proposals for a Skate Park for Tallaght?"

REPLY:

The approved masterplan for Jobstown Park includes for the provision of a skatepark as part of the development of a wide range of both active and passive recreational facilities for Jobstown and the Tallaght area centered around the Tallaght Leisure Centre recreational hub. It is planned to provide these facilities on a phased basis, over the coming years, as resources become available.

The next planned development at Jobstown Park is the provision of a childrens playground which forms part of the 2014 - 2018 Playspace Programme. Consulatation with stakeholders has recently commenced.
