MOTION: Cllr. Cathal King

"That this Committee calls on the Manager as a matter of urgency to remove by whatever means necessary the laneway along Cushlawn Dale, which was recently provided as part of the infill development in Cushlawn Estate"

REPORT

A report was presented to the November Area Committee Meeting indicating that a detailed proposal for this area would be presented to this meeting of the Area Committee.

There are a number of areas interfacing between Cushlawn and the Deerpark Development where environmental improvement works are planned. The proposal is to include works to the full extent of the boundary from the new Kiltipper Road to the western extremity of the Deerpark site.

This will include the proposed alteration/removal of the existing concrete structure along Cushlawn Dale in line with this presentation.

Memebers should note however that the agreement of and liaison with the developer of adjoining Deerpark development will be required to effect the proposals.
