COMHAIRLE CONTAE ÁTHA CLIATH THEAS
SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING OF RATHFARNHAM/TEMPLEOGUE-TERENURE AREA COMMITTEE

QUESTION NO. 9
QUESTION: Councillor S. Holland
"To ask the Chief Executive, given the current concerns around the Rosemount parking & shopping, whether it would be of any benefit to organise a meeting with the Rathfarnham Village traders, who encountered similar challenges and may have valuable input into possible solutions & suggestions?"
REPLY:
Similar issues were experienced in Rathfarnham village prior to the implementation of pay and display parking, where long stay parking was preventing access to parking spaces for customers to business and civic facilities in the village. While the stakeholders are different between the areas the outcome in parking management can be transferable. A meeting can be accommodated if requested by stakeholders.
