QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Brien

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the traffic plan for the Canonbrook estate in Lucan after the residents Deputation on the 28th of January. Can you tell me what progress has been made on the issue and if no progress has been made what is the plan for action to fix the problem of parking issues in the estate?"

REPLY:

The matter is being examined in the context of the further development of the schools in the area and in relation to possible traffic management improvements on the Newcastle Road and associated works related to public transport improvement.
