QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

To ask the Chief Executive can he outline what progress is being made with the remaining utility companies in respect of entering into MOU with the Council concerning Graffiti - and will the Chief Executive list these utility companies?

REPLY:

Initial contact has been made with the remaining utility companies with a view to extending the memorandum of understanding currently in place with the ESB for the removal of graffiti.  The matter will be progressed with each of the companies should they agree to participate.  The companies contacted are: Eircom, An Post, UPC, Bord Gáis, and Energia.
