QUESTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

"To ask the Chief Executive for a timeframe for the proposed meeting with the receiver appointed for The Paddocks in Adamstown, as there has been no indication of such a meeting being arranged as of yet, despite focused questions being submitted on foot of a motion before Christmas?"

REPLY:

The Receiver and Liquidator through their Consulting Engineers J.B. Barry & partners have been engaged in preparing a comprehensive tender document for the Paddocks. At present we await submission of these tenders. The Receiver was of the opinion that at present no benefit was to be gained from having a meeting with residents, they would prefer to complete the suite of works required by SDCC BC Department.

All focused questioned have generally been included in the tender document. We anticipate that the successful contractor will be on site during March/April 2015 and the works will take approximately 3-4 months to complete.
