MOTION NO. 151

MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

That the Development Plan has regard for all villages within the county when it comes to allocation of resources - and looks favourably on the consolidation of new village centres.

REPORT:

The South Dublin County Council Development Plan 2016-2022 will seek to promote the viability and vitality of the existing centres in the County. In particular, the Draft Plan will align the land use zonings of the traditional villages in the County to enable the development of consistent policies, objectives and measures.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the motion is adopted.
