MOTION: Councillor R. McMahon

To create the infrastructure so as to encourage organisations and business interests to get involved in South Dublin in making it a more attractive tourist location.

REPORT:

The Tourism Strategy for South Dublin 2014 will guide the future development of tourism in South Dublin County. The Tourism Strategy will include a range of actions based on a full analysis of the tourism potential of the County. The Development Plan can include a policy to support tourism related infrastructure projects.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the motion is adopted.
