MOTION: Councillor C. King

That the Plan will provide protection for Historic Ruins throughout the County and seek their enhancement as part of the wider tourism strategy for South Dublin.

REPORT:

The Development Plan will map and list all Recorded Monuments including historic ruins and include a requirement for development to protect and enhance such sites.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the motion is adopted.
