MOTION: Councillor P. Donovan

That this Council directs the Chief Executive to plan adequately for Community buildings in our County with particular emphasis on the design of the buildings to ensure that they are

i. sufficient in size to meet the needs of the community

ii.that they are designed to be able to generate the required revenue stream to allow them strive for self sufficiency

iii. fully inclusive to our entire community with the necessary accessibility and facilities to support full inclusion by the communities they aim to serve

REPORT:

The County Development Plan will seek to support and facilitate the provision of community buildings that are flexible in design and promote optimal usage.

Recommendation

It is recommended that this motion is adopted.
