That the Council directs the Chief Executive to include a policy on the need to maintain existing hedgerows and protect Ancient and Hedgerow Systems (AHS).

REPORT:

The County’s hedgerows are an important part of the Green Infrastructure network.

Recommendation

It is recommended that this motion is adopted.
