MOTION NO. 284

MOTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

That the Council directs the Chief Executive to include a policy on the need for review of number of ACAs in South Dublin area; that it should be based on needs rather than overall number. 

REPORT:

South Dublin County Council has engaged a Conservation Consultant to carry out a review of potential Architectural Conservation Areas to inform the review of the South Dublin County Council Development Plan, with a view to adding new ACAs and increasing the boundaries of existing ACAs, as appropriate.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the motion is adopted.
