MOTION: Councillor J. Graham

It is the policy objective of this Council in conjunction with appropriate bodies to develop renewable energy sources including solar energy. 

REPORT:

The Draft South Dublin County Council Development Pan 2016 – 2022 will focus on strategic planning matters facing the County, including energy efficiency and renewable energy issues at a Countywide scale.

Recommendation

It is recommended that this motion be adopted.
