QUESTION NO. 21
QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart
"To ask the Chief Executive that the on-road cycle track between Ballyboden Road and Pizza Hut be revisited by the Council's Roads Department. The residents who live on this section of road have always parked their cars on the road outside their homes and indeed one resident who converted his garden to a driveway had to convert it back at the behest of the Council - so they have nowhere else to park their cars and yet some of them have received parking fines for parking on the cycle path (which is illegal) - can alternatives be looked at here?"
REPLY:
We will examine this matter in the context of the Greater Dublin Area Cycle Scheme, which shows a network including Ballyboden Road. However, there are no plans to modify the cycle track at this time.
