MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

Grange Castle/Industrial Development

That this Council directs the Chief Executive to make provision in the new Development Plan for the orderly expansion of enterprise zoned lands, particularly in the Grange Castle/Profile Park area, so as to ensure the ongoing attraction of foreign direct investment to our County.

REPORT:

The South Dublin County Council Development Plan 2016-2022 will seek to support and facilitate economic activity across a range of sectors. Ensuring that enough land will be available to meet anticipated economic development requirements and that development occurs in a co-ordinated manner is central to the Development Plan.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Motion be adopted.
