MOTION NO. 4

MOTION: Councillor B. Leech, Councillor K. Mahon, Councillor M. Murphy

That the County Development plan mitigates against the impact of the continued potentially rapid growth of Dublin on the quality of life within existing and future communities and in particular issues associated with over-development and traffic.

REPORT:

This motion is agreed. The policies and objectives of the South Dublin County Council Development Plan 2016-2022 will set out a spatial planning framework for the future development of the County based on the overarching considerations Quality of Life, Prosperity, Sustainability, Health and Wellbeing and Climate Change.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the motion is adopted.
