QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Chief Executive for a report on the Dublin 12 Laneway Cleansing Programme for the year 2014, and if it is proposed to continue the schedule for 2015, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

The Dublin 12 laneway cleaning programme commenced in July 2013 and under this programme the laneways included in it are scheduled for twice yearly cleaning.  The 2014 programme was completed successfully and therefore all included laneways have now been cleaned on 3 occasions under this programme in the past 18 months.  It is proposed that the programme will continue throughout the course of 2015, a schedule of proposed works is contained in the attachment.
