QUESTION NO. 7
QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan
"To ask the Chief Executive to remove the trees, shrubs and bushes at the entrance to Knocklyon Ave as it is blocking the view of motorists trying to exit the Knocklyon Woods Estates?"
REPLY:
The trees, shrubs and bushes at Knocklyon Avenue at it's junction with Firhouse Road will be inspected to determine if they are interfering with sight lines for vehicles exiting Knocklyon Avenue. The Council's Roads Dept will be consulted in relation to this matter also. The area in question will be cut back if this is found to be necessary in order to maintain adequate sight distance at this junction.
