QUESTION: Councillor A-M. Dermody

"To ask the Chief Executive that Prospect Manor Drive and Prospect Manor Meadow be included for discussion as to inclusion in the ramp programme for the Rathfarnham area?"

REPLY:

The Council has completed its traffic calming (ramps) in Prospect Manor and other areas within the remit of the Committee as part of the 2014 programme. The locations were submitted to the Chair and agreed by the Committee. In 2015 it is intended to expend the balance of monies during the course of 2015 and any additional locations for such measures need the agreement of the area Committee.  These should be submitted and agreed through the chair of the Committee as in 2014. Following on from that the Council will assess the locations both on safety and engineering grounds and construct same.
