To request that the Chief Executive write to Minister Donohue to provide the following information with regard to Sports Capital Programme for the years 2008/2011/2012/2014

What was the highest single grant award for each year?

How many organisations applied for the grant?

How many applications where unsuccessful?

What was main/common reason for unsuccessful applications?

How much of the allocated Sports capital grants were not used?

What happens to the grants not used?

REPORT:

If the motion is passed the terms of the motion will be conveyed to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport and upon receipt, a copy of his reply will be circulated to the Members.
