QUESTION: Councillor A-M. Dermody

"To ask the Chief Executive when the paths in Willowbank Drive and Orchardton which were to have been included in the footpath programme for 2015 will be done.  Last year I asked that these paths be include and I was told in writing that the Area Engineer was requested to inspect the locations and any emergency repairs that are necessary would be carried out. No such repairs were carried out to the best of my knowledge and the paths are clearly getting worse. Can you please provide a specific date for the commencement of these works and a map of the specific paths, lest there be any confusion?"

REPLY:

It is proposed to carry out repairs to a number of paths where trip hazards are present in the Willowbank Drive and Orchardton Estates in early 2015. Works are scheduled for the March / April period.
