QUESTION NO. 4
QUESTION: Councillor E. O'Brien
"To ask the Chief Executive to replace two mature trees recently cut down at the entrance to Dodsboro Cottages with two more suitable trees to maintain the overall appearance of the entrance to the estate?"
REPLY:
The Council recently removed two trees from Dodsboro open space for Health and Safety reasons. The trees had been inspected by the Council's Parks Supervisor for the area and were considered to be in a potentially hazardous condition. Dodsboro open space will be considered for inclusion on the Draft Tree Planting Programme for future planting in 2016 and beyond.
