MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

That the Chief Executive Officer ensures the reinstatement of Bancroft Park following works there in late December which have destroyed parts of this local amenity.

REPORT:

The open space in question was damaged in December last by a contractor working on behalf of the owner of the Greenhills Court apartments.  The works undertaken at the time were repairs to a defective foul sewer. The Council's public realm section have been in touch with the contractor regarding the need to properly reinstate the damaged ground and an undertaking has been received that this will be done in the Spring as soon as ground conditions allow.
