QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

To ask the Chief Executive to repair the shore outside Hairlough Barbers Ninth Lock Road. 15 minutes of rainfall will block this drain leaving water 3 metres out on the road, can it be linked to the main sewage pipe on the main road or else the canal a few metres away?

This matter has been referred to the Drainage Section for investigation and to make the any necessary repairs/changes to correct the situation.
