QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That the possibility of an additional street light be installed at the entrance to Chalet Gardens, Lucan. This is a very dark area and muggings have taken place here to the extent that local residents are fearful to venture out on foot once the darkness closes in which is quite early these evenings?"

REPLY:

The existing lighting infrastructure at this location will be examined and the cost of installing an additional light estimated should it be deemed required.
