QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"That this Council notes the following request “I write on behalf of Palmerstown Boxing Club to request that the site of the former Snooker Hall on the old Lucan Road, Palmerstown be made available to our Club on a long term lease basis in order to build our Clubhouse which will include a gym, shower and toilet facilities” and agrees to consider this request and if this location is not feasible that other locations are considered within Palmerston."

REPLY:
A community worker will be assigned to meet with Palmerstown Boxing Club to assist with their project.  The community services team have not been approached for their input to-date. Application for a lease is being dealt with by Property Management Section.
