QUESTION: Councillor A-M. Dermody

"To ask the Chief Executive to provide steps from Woodview (Spider’s Hill) up to Dodder Park Road. I have attached to this a mock-up of how the steps would look. Please consider and revert?"

REPLY:

It was envisaged that the provision of a set of steps, ramp and railings to provide safe pedestrian access from Woodview Cottages to the Dodder Valley Road in Rathfarnham would be considered in the context of the 2014 public realm Improvement Works Programme for the area. 

Prior to any construction works on site, the precise details of the proposed access improvement works will be discussed and agreed with the Roads Department and the Rathfarnham Tidy Towns Committee.

Specific details will be provided to the members in due course.
